Stephy Fung presented her virtual costumes and short films with Chinese culture designed using 3D technology during the talk. She believes that not everything is bad in 2020. After the outbreak of the new crown virus, the development of online technology was once again pushed significantly. As it was impossible to hold offline events, online live streaming and 3D virtual technology became the new medium for designers to promote their work.

It has to be acknowledged that 3D virtual clothing will make a significant contribution to environmental sustainability. The garment industry has always been a major contributor to environmental pollution, which has led many designers to look for and develop sustainable design techniques. 3D virtual clothing will undoubtedly become a trend in this era, as it will allow designers to realise their design ideas, complete difficult designs and avoid the pollution associated with garment production.

However, 'Will 3D virtual clothing technology last? How will it last?' It needs to be thought about together. When the consumer loses the novelty of the technology, it will probably fall out of fashion. Because the wearer cannot actually be subjected to any clothing in real life, the traditional garment market will remain dominant. So it is also very important to keep 3D virtual clothing fresh and durable.
