“ What is Employability?
Employability is a lifelong process, it is about what you know, what you can do and who you are as a person. Building your capabilities, personal qualities and knowledge to be ready to gain skilled employment and for your continuing success in your future life, work or study after NTU. ” —— NTU Employability
As we all know, the key to a graduate's successful employment and good career lies in whether he or she has the necessary employability skills.
The so-called employability refers to a comprehensive ability formed through the learning of knowledge, training of skills and development of qualities, which can realise individual employment ideals, reflect their own values and meet the needs of society, and it includes various aspects such as knowledge, skills, attitude, personality and mental ability.
Employability contains two meanings: one is the ability of students to find a job when they are employed; the other is the ability to develop sustainably after employment.
In the face of such great pressure, in a competitive environment and complex social relations, I believe that to find a suitable job, university students should not only enhance their employability but also improve their abilities in various aspects, improve their moral cultivation and correctly understand the values and worldview of life. Only by improving oneself comprehensively can one gain a foothold in the fiercely competitive society.
