CURRENT RESEARCH DIRECTIONS
NOSTALGIA Project
Situating your Practice
· This project will express that I have a serious nostalgia. And I prefer to watch movies and TV shows that I've seen repeatedly, even more than 50 times, rather than watching new ones. I also like to collect a lot of old objects from the past, for example, I have kept many memorable greeting cards and toys for 15 years. I often reminisce and look at photos from the past, but it also drives me to be better in the present and not have regrets.
· This inspiration for the project is nostalgia which also came from my experience. And I hope that this concept in the garment I design will resonate with their wearers.

Don't Look At Me! ZINE
Culture and Collaboration
· DENTITY is an ironic word. It is very personal to every individual at the same time it is also very dependent on the people and factors around us. The place and culture you are born with define your identity, the place and culture you decide to adopt during the course of your life also define your identity. The way you look, the work you do, the food you eat everything becomes a part of what defines you.
· The magazine discusses identity in five areas: culture, work, food, appearance and body image, in the hope that everyone can find their own identity.

Personalized Nostalgic Design That Reinterprets Chinese Culture
Innovation in Fashion Practice
· I hope that through my personal nostalgic and personalized designs, I can revive the lost memories of Chinese culture. The culture of the Chinese 'Spring Festival Gala' and the traditional Chinese lantern culture will also be key elements in my nostalgic design. Through innovative designs on old culture, I will inject a new soul into it, thereby continuing and promoting the cultural sustainability of Chinese culture and increasing the emotional durability of the audience. Through subsequent research into fabrics and materials, I will also consider and choose to use more durable and sustainable materials in this collection to better achieve sustainability.
· I intend to design a personalised nostalgic neo-Chinese collection of women's clothing by analysing personal nostalgia and combining it with post-structural contemporary Chinese culture.
· I aim to create a non-seasonal slow fashion collection that does not satisfy current trends, and to extend the life of the product by increasing the emotional durability of the product for the customer and the sustainability of the material.

DESIGN DIRECTIONS
· Because all my design is inspired by my personal life experiences. I want to express through my designs the insights I've gained at various stages of my life and through diverse experiences. So, this inspiration for the project is nostalgia which also came from my experience. And I hope that this concept in the garment I design will resonate with their wearers.
· I focus on that the interplay of spatial relationships between three-dimension and two-dimension. In the project, I hope to further learn pattern-making techniques and silhouette design for womenswear, master the use of various fabrics and integrated materials to design the silhouette and shape of garments and create designs with a sense of spatial interplay.
